Founder's Story
While working as the marketing director and technical consultant at one of South Florida's largest personal injury firms, Tom was tasked with transforming the firm's operations from a legacy on-premises case management system to a cloud-based solution designed for scale. Over nearly two years, he evaluated, implemented, migrated, and trained stakeholders and legal staff on the new ecosystem.
Recognizing that other law firms could benefit from his hands-on expertise, Tom launched Vinetegrate® in 2021. Through Vinetegrate's success, Tom discovered that firms needed more than implementation services—they needed strategic guidance on which technologies actually fit their goals and how to integrate them effectively. This insight shaped his vision for Matterflow.
In 2025, Tom launched Matterflow® to expand his expertise across a growing roster of legal tech platforms. Today, Matterflow specializes in Filevine, NetDocuments, and Actionstep, with emerging platforms like Clarra and others joining our toolkit as the legal tech ecosystem expands. After working with enterprise firms, Tom realized that solo and small law firms faced even steeper barriers to adoption and needed more hands-on, personalized guidance to define their practical needs and implement solutions that actually deliver results.
With more than 450 law firms served since 2021, Matterflow® today focuses what we do best: advising, implementing, and training small and mid-sized law firms in specific areas of practice. We support firms operating on both contingency and non-contingency fee models, and have deep experience in technical tooling, automations, and integration AI systems.
