Founder's Story

While working as the marketing and technology director at one of South Florida's largest personal injury firms, Tom Copeland was tasked with a mission: Find a cloud-based case management solution that would transform the firm's operations from tired, outdated, and too reliant upon on-premises servers to cutting-edge, efficient, and ready to scale with growth. He evaluated nearly a dozen options and eventually recomended Filevine for their commitment to product development, high-degree of customization, and capable and open API.
A little over twelve months later, the firm and its seventy-five staff were live in Filevine, and Tom was already developing applications for automating intake and marketing workflows that increased sign-up rates and reduced overhead.
In 2021, realizing that other law firms could benefit from his unqiue skillset, he launched Vinetegrate. The company grew quickly, but so too did the legal tech space outside of Filevine. In 2025, Tom launched his long-planned vision for Matterflow to expand the technical expertise and experience of his staff into other platforms that similarly earned their place on the fast-paced forefront of legal technology. In 2025, he earned certifications for himself and his staff in NetDocuments and Actionstep.
